Happy Birthday

It was my birthday on friday, i have finally reached the dizzy heights of Eighteen! One of my favourite parts of birthdays (apart from cake and wearing dresses) is wrapping paper, yes i'm a geek, i know.

Indian Summer

 

Looks like we got that Indian summer after all! I'm impressed England. Apart from being at school for most of it and the horrible foggy mornings i really enjoyed these few days on sunny weather with trip to the pub and a nice walk round the woods. alas no barbecues though! Not really sure what this picture has to do with anything, but i like it.

Goodbye Summer

Unless we have a freak Indian Summer, it looks like its goodbye summer, hello coats and boots. I will have to look though all my photos to make me feel a bit warmer.

I've decided to start a sketch book, so i am now even more distracted from all those important things i need to do....

Heres to the first Barbecue of the year!

It's such a lovely sunny morning! and i don't have a single thing planned, i think i might make a dress!

A photo of my feet- ooooo how original! I went on a lovely walk today in my Hunters wellies, and Tilly the collie, its was really sunny, but kind of windy too. i've also noticed there is a considerable lack of 'fabric' on here and this blog isn't living up to its name, so i'll work on that :)

Art, Craft and Design

I have finally finished my work on spiderwebs and light, i feel like i have been working on it forever. i think i will be sad to see it go in a strange way. Goodbye Organic Structures! but on the other hand, Hello exam project! I received the exam paper this morning and now I've got to decided between; Twisted and intertwined; waterways; artificial lighting and unusual viewpoints. I better get mind mapping....

I finally finished my first film in my Retinette today! I never know how much 36 shots could be. Off to get it developed tomorrow, hopefully they will all come out ok.

I had a really strange dream the other night, I dreamt I became a superhero, just like that. I had a red skater style dress and it was pretty nice, but that's about all i can remember, i don't think i even had any super powers. i think its got to be up there in my top five dreams :)

I'm so glad my mum bought this for me, defiantly the best buy on a trip to the winter sales :) everyone should have a copy! it's a lovely magazine with lovely things to read, lovely pictures and lovely ideas.

Finally finished buying and wrapping all my presents! bring on Christmas
