Flower power

You know I told you i got that fabric from ikea? well this is it! I was presently surprised. I made it quite a few weeks ago now after spending ages designing the pattern in calico. when I first finished it I wasn't too sure about it and though the fabric looked a bit garish for a dress, but i'm slowly coming round to it. I just have to be in the right mood!

Experimenting

I'm starting AS textiles next term so I've decided to spend the summer experimenting with different things on the theme of identity, heres a few things that i've tried so far

Experimenting with stitch and layering on photographs for a birthday card.

... And i've finally got round to taking some pictures of some of the clothes i've made.

So i never really take pictures of anything i make, and i decided i really should start doing it, so heres a collection of some of the things i've made over the last year or so. Also i should make this blog live up to its name a bit more and add a bit more fabric to it!

Sorry maths revision, but i want to make a skirt.

My blog is looking pretty empty at the moment,  defiantly need to make more of a commitment to it. I'm going to take some photos of all the clothes I've made, so their should be much more 'fabric' on here soon. Here's one of the cards I've made in the meantime.
